    What is NAFLD?

NAFLD is a growing health concern characterized by a buildup of fat in the liver that is not caused by alcohol consumption. Over time, NAFLD can lead to more serious liver problems, including cirrhosis and liver cancer. This study aims to test a new treatment for fatty liver/MASH disease that could help many people who have it.

    The Study

In this clinical trial, we’re testing a brand new approach to fight fatty liver disease. For that, we’re looking for volunteers to see if this approach can improve your liver health, ease your symptoms, and make you feel better overall.

The approach we’re testing could be a new medication, a specific diet plan, or something else entirely—if you qualify, we’ll tell you all about it.

What Will Happen in the Study?

The study will involve several steps:

    Screening:

This will involve a medical history review, blood tests, imaging scans (e.g., ultrasound) of your liver, and possibly a physical exam.

    Baseline Visit:

If you qualify, you will undergo further assessments to establish your baseline health status.

    Treatment Phase:

You will receive the assigned treatment for a specified period. This may involve taking medication, following a specific diet, or participating in other treatments as defined by the study protocol.

    Follow-up Visits:

Regular follow-up appointments will be set up to monitor your health, track progress, and collect data. These may involve blood tests, imaging scans, and questionnaires about your symptoms and well-being.

    Who Can Participate?

You must meet the following criteria to be eligible for this study:

    • You are diagnosed with NAFLD by a healthcare professional.
    • You have to be within a specific age range (to be specified by the trial details).
    • You have blood test results that indicate you have NAFLD.
    • You must not have a history of certain medical conditions such as uncontrolled diabetes, active hepatitis, etc.
    • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
    • You have to be prepared to show up for all appointments, take any medications we provide as instructed (if applicable), and possibly change your diet.

    Benefits and Risks

Participation in this study may offer potential benefits such as:

    • Access to a new treatment approach for NAFLD.
    • Close monitoring of your liver health.
    • Contributing to the advancement of research on NAFLD.

However, you must keep in mind that there may also be some potential risks, such as:

    • Any new treatment may have side effects, which the study team will discuss in detail.
    • The study procedures may involve some discomfort or inconvenience.

    Compensation & Confidentiality

We value your time. That’s why we’ll compensate you for participating in the study, for detailed information contact our office to know more. Plus, your privacy is our top priority. All your personal information will be kept strictly confidential, following ethical research guidelines.
